 Prepare your own resource. This means collect the list of good directory sites, good bookmarking sites, RSS feed submission sites and classified submission sites.

 Take care of existence of “Nofollow” and “Noindex” attributes.

 No need of going for paid service initially. Try to improve your site’s ranking with organic ways.

 Try to get quality links always. Always take care of the theme of the page where you are getting link.

 Promote your home page first.

 Always work on keyword research for each page.

 Try to promote different pages on different keywords.

 Never promote a single page for more than 3-4 keywords.

 Do not use unethical ways to promote site.

 Do not try to cheat crawlers.

 If you are making comments, take care that comment should be genuine. Do not comment only for the sake of link stuffing.

 If you get a comment, it is the courtesy that you go to that site and make a comment.

SEO in my view

When it comes about career, SEO is one of the ways which is preferred these days. It is interesting as well as growing. After going through so much of years of my career as SEO, I got to know that this field has lots of options to grow. When I joined my first company as junior SEO, I was least interested in it and it was only the way to get my pocket money. Slowly and steady I got responsibilities and I was being forced to learn some concepts. After learning them, I felt more curiosity in me to learn more and more. However, till now I can’t say that I am finished with my studies in this field. The more I learn, the more I find is remaining. Believe me, you will never get bore in this field.

I remember, when I faced my first interview for the position of junior SEO, Interviewer questioned, “You are MCA qualified, why you want to join us as SEO?” At that time I’ve no honest answer for that; literally. I couldn’t tell them that I was doing this for my pocket money.

Finally I succeeded and joined my first company as junior SEO. I’ve never gone through any kind of training from institute and now I feel proud on myself. This is not the thing to be taught, it is the field to do experiment and learn. I got some good articles available on internet. I really want to thank the people who made all that available on internet and easily available. For all the newcomers in SEO industry, it is the best way to get knowledge and not to waste money and time in coaching classes.
